🌙 What is Ramadan?

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Devout Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset – abstaining from food, drink, and negative thoughts. It is a time of spirituality, charity, and inner purification.

🕰️ When does Ramadan take place?

Ramadan begins with the sighting of the new moon. Each year, it shifts forward by approximately 10–11 days (according to the Gregorian calendar). In 2025, Ramadan is expected to begin on February 28.
