The emergency relief project for the distribution of flour and vegetable packages was implemented in the Gaza Strip from May 5 to 15, 2025, by the Social Developmental Forum with the support of HCI – Help & Charity International (Düsseldorf, Germany), which had collected the donations. The project aimed to alleviate the acute food shortage resulting from the ongoing conflict and the difficult humanitarian situation.
A total of 372 displaced and particularly vulnerable families in North, Central, and South Gaza received support. In the process, 240 families were provided with flour (3–5 kg depending on family size) and 130 families were supplied with vegetable packages.
Distribution took place via several local distribution points in cooperation with community committees to ensure safe and orderly delivery. Accompanying monitoring and a sample evaluation confirmed high levels of satisfaction among the beneficiaries and showed that the aid made an important contribution to meeting the most urgent food needs of the affected families.
